About Amy

As a current team member of Journey of Wholeness Amy balances many projects and responsibilities.  Amy is recently remarried after 11 years of parenting as a single mother.  Her blended family consists of four children.  She homeschools the three who live at home with her and they enjoy their learning environment that has a heavy emphasis on the natural world and reading together.  Amy is a lifelong learner and a pursuer of truth; she particularly enjoys studying attachment, nonviolent communication, and permaculture. The journey of wholeness for Amy started many years ago when, part way through her masters degree, she experienced the “great burnout” and the following “great recovery.”  During this time she shifted beliefs and behaviors around nutrition, education, life purpose, personal mission, and emotions.
